What a platform of family values OUGHT to contain:
1. Heated fight for a living minimum wage. How can a family function as a family if the parents (whatever form that may take) are working two, three or more jobs to just make ends meet.
2. Universal Healthcare.
3. Plans to expand WIC to emphasize a nutrionally solid program.
4. Less emphasis on high-stakes testing, greater emphasis on getting low-performing schools the necessary help they need (whether that be in the form of monies, goods or hiring strategies).
5. A prison system focused upon rehabilition instead of punition.
6. Equal rights for all in all facets of life with the understanding the one's innumerable natural rights are not granted by any body, paper or doctrine, but instead are to be protected by those same.
And other things I'm still considering.
