The End of one block...
Meat ID and Fab is done and done. I would like to mention that I did pretty much rock the final which is always a helpful boost to my feelings about ANY class. It was intense and wicked fun, though and I highly recommend it, and Chef Schneller, to anyone with even an inkling of interest in meat.

After an exhausting night of studying, the exhausting sausage day and final, I then went to work for an exhausting (but fun!) night with Overlook's girlies. Last night, we went to the AME Zion Church in Poughkeepsie to help out with the Voices of Promise fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner. It was a blast and a half, let me tell you. But I came home absolutely dog tired and ready for bed.

This weekend is a three-day weekend for us here at the Culinary. For some reason, known only to God, Tim Ryan and perhaps the administration, we get the first Monday of each block off. That's a nice feeling, yo. I'm well due for a little relaxating. It's been crazy and hectic and I need a little room to breathe. I still stand by the statement that my group is quite faboo as a whole, but omigosh! there are a couple of real snags in the total flow. I almost lost my mind yesterday with the craziness. A break is greatly needed from it all because on Tuesday, we start Skills I and I have to be totaly on point and back in the game full-force.

But not today. Today is for me.
