Life in bullet points:
-Camp RESPECT was a SMASHING success. I'm super proud of our efforts. 240 girls in sites thus far have created papier mache masks, crepe paper flowers, learned about AIDS, watched fun videos and heard that they were important. They've been exposed to goal-setting, reproductive health lessons, proper methods of hygiene and sanitation, lessons in environmental consciousness and played some sports and games including Twister and Steal the Bacon. Most importatly: they had FUN!
-The newbies arrive on the 21st of September. Whoa!
-I go into stage (pronounced as stahge...it's French, yo!) October 9th-ish. Whoa!
-Their site announcements are the 24th of October.
-my MID-SERVICE physical is at the end of November. MID-SERVICE, yo! One year down, one left to go!
-Swear-in for the Class of 2005 is December 2nd.
-Time flies even when it feels like it's not.
Package informacion: If for any reason you get mail you've sent me returned to you "Service Interrupted," just ignore the silly postal workers and resend it. They should allow you to resend it for free because it's their silly fault that it was returned in the first place. We're not sure why this happens, but it does from time to time.
